Introducing the Problem Popper.

Do you have problems that just won’t go away? Do you have time to analyse the cause and effects and perform a detailed root cause analysis?

The problem popper is designed for the busy manager, helping them to make a root cause diagnosis in anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour, depending on the scope of the problem or opportunity.

The Problem Popper will uncover causes and effects of the root cause and help the user to become aware of the true value of a solution. That in turn helps you to allocate the right amount of time and money to go about fixing the root cause once and for all.

The Problem Popper offers a framework that you can use to solve any problem and provides users with a one page summary of the problem, it’s root cause and actions that you can take to solve it once and for all.

How it works

The problem popper guides you through a series of prompts, asking you the right questions at the right time to find and solve the root cause of your problem. It should take anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour to complete and will give you the information you need to understand:-

Problem/opportunity – What is the real root cause of the problem that you are trying to pop?

Cost of the problem / value of a solution – What are the costs or negative consequences of the problem, or what would be the benefits that you get from solving the root cause?

Goals – What business goals can’t you reach because of your problem? What business goals could you achieve if the root cause was addressed?

External factors – What external factors, that you cannot control, contribute to the problem or root cause?

Internal factors –What internal factors that you have control over contribute to the problem or root cause?

Solutions that you have tried –What have you done to fix the problem or address the root cause?

Possible solutions –What new solution would seem feasible at the moment? Feasibility is your understanding your capability to make the required changes really happen.

Recommendations and next steps – Based on your input, what would be the next actions to pop this problem?
